10,000 Mile Service
« on: 05 August 2008, 13:00 »
All,

Just been quoted £160 for the 10,0000 miles first service from Hayseldens in Barnsley. Does this seems a fair price?

I paid £149 for my 2.0tdi for it's first service(18K) and it's on Longlife also I got them to change the fuel and air filters at the same time so I think I'm getting a bargain from my dealer

I paid £111 last year in Newcastle (Time/Distance).

Just been quoted £199 + £64.50 inc for break fluid change for 2 year service. Going to supply my own oil for this service.

I would  get an anual service no matter how many miles just make sure they use the oil for the long interval service as this is better quality oil
