Mk 4 2.0 GTI
« on: 05 August 2008, 01:31 »
right not ad me golf long and just got in from late shift on the way home i gave the golf a bit of heavy right foot action (obviously on the race track nearby my home officer  ) and got to say not sure where these comments of 2.slug come from if you rev it above 4k rpm it really comes alive and i was impressed, i know it wont keep up with the turbos or maybe the turbo smokers but not as bad as people make out.

Anybody actually driven a 2.0ltr who is commenting, I have and got to say its not turbo quick but after 4k it does start to shift, they are just crap round town
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

ah you obviously havent been given a good ride lately linz, it's not always about straightline speed it's about how much guts you have to keep your foot planted through the lanes and bends. anyway as jeremy clarkson says diesel is the fuel of satin   plus i got the bike for power the car is for comfort and i find my lovely leather very comfy
