I don't see the point in paying for parking sensors on such a small car.

Erm . . . wait until you get arthritus in your neck, and you'll soon be eating those words!  And as for "winding your neck in" - that will just be too painful to even contemplate!

I'll worry about that when/if it happens then T_T

However did the world operate without all these driver aids??

Some aids are fantastic, others just make people lazy/poor drivers as they rely too much on them.

I would have them if my rear end cost as much as RR's it's down to personal preference at the end of the day. I can never understand why you would need the radio controls on the steering wheel when they are less than a foot away but im sure there is lots of people who feel they need this its down to what you can afford to spend on luxury's and what each individual want's. there all good if your happy.  :smug:

I agree Steve, the driver 'aids' I have on the Golf just annoy me. The wipers seem to have a mind of their own as do the auto lights............ And don't get me started on electronic handbrakes

TC, it's a strange one with the steering controls, once youv'e had them you can't do without them, and I feel as a safety device they are good as I find I can adjust volume etc without having to take my eyes of the road  :smug:

Having them on the steering wheel means you don't have to take your hands off the wheel or take your eyes off the road.  I can see where you are coming from though...

Yes, the wipers can be a bit erratic at times!  Never had a problem with the auto lights although I tend not to have them set to auto as I like to decide when I want them on rather than a bit of software and sensors

you have been warned about having a laugh on here. That is discriminating against those of us who have a large one or indeed is a large one. :afro:
