...."Vietnam Chopper" - Great way to describe it!

I get it if I open just the back windows a bit with the fronts shut! I hate it, makes me feel a bit sick

Vietnam Chopper is a perfect description of it!

It also happens on my Mk4 Golf when the sunroofs open.

....As you've probably already discovered - If you drop all the windows just an inch, you'll release the cabin pressure when the sunroof is open and kill the Vietnam Chopper nausea.

....Cass - Just to let you know if you don't already - If you open the rear windows just a little when the sunroof is open, you release all the cabin's air pressure and get no 'buffetting'.

Not in a 3 door RR

Cass
 I had a sun roof in my beetle i swear to god reach 38 mph with it open and it turned into a vietnam chopper

There is a "confort setting" on the sunroof which does a good job of "shooting down the chopper"   - sommat like 3/4 fully open.  I only have mine all the way open if I'm in town, below 30, otherwise it's a right PITA . . . .

"pardon" . . . "what did you say" . . . "I can't fcuk!n hear you" . . . .

and that's just to the SatNav!

I don't see the point in paying for parking sensors on such a small car. All that beepings enough to make anyone crash   The wife has a Jetta and she doesn't need them   Nuff said!

....Reversing sensors are invaluable due to poor rear visibilty. Got mine as aftermarket cos I didn't think I would want them. Beeping isn't over intrusive at all.

Poor rear visibility?? The bumper sticks out about 3'' from the rear tailgate, how hard can it be?? I've driven plenty of cars with poor rear visibility and the Golf isn't one of them.

Just my opinion but I don't like parking sensors (or Girly parking sensors as I refer to them at work if a chap wants to order some!! )
