I never quite understood why VW didn't paint the GTIs bumper like that in the first place, BTW looks great apart from the mud flaps, which should only be fitted to Land Rovers IMO.

Agree - bumper paint looks sweet. Nothing wrong with flaps IMHO - got them myself on car from new. Sensible option to prevent stones flying up against your own and others paintwork. Should be standard fitment :cool:

I do like the black lower part. I actually considered de-colour-coding that part :laugh:

It does look good with the black section there!! Cant help thinking its missing some reflector stripes tho :rolleyes: :lipsrsealed: :grin:

same look as mine there, but I am havong my front done but leaving the black lip and a set of r32 skirts all being painted at the mo!

I,m thinking of having that done..Leaving the lower black and the skirts/lip.

How much did they charge?.. Did they smooth it out first,its kinda rough to the touch as standard..

it cost me £60 and its smoothed out, the plastic texture is gone. they did a great job well happy  :smiley:
