What does this botton do??

Hi, what does the botton under my rear view mirror do?? Dont think it does anything?

switches on/ off the auto dimming function.  :smiley:

Hurrm,  should a light come on to say its working or somthing??

Not sure if mine works, i have a slight tint on my windows, should that effect it?

Theres a little green LED indicator that tells you if its on or off on the mirror.

In the old days...you had a lever at the back of the rear view mirror that you could flick when some inconsiderate tosser was behind you with full beam on.

The autodimming sensor detects the presence of these tossers and darkens the mirror automatically...It also does the wing mirrors as well, if you have the appropriate pack...don't know which one...I bought my car second hand.

i LOVE  :kiss: this featue - i didn't know there was an actual button though as my mirror has always had the little green light on

Rear view is standard but the wing mirror are not, and if I remember correctly it was only available on the early models.
