R32 prices
« on: 31 July 2008, 14:44 »
Having always fancied owning a Mk5 R32,i cant help noticing the apparent fallout of the increased petrol prices and road tax is having on used values.
Doing the usual Autotrader searches is throwing up some amazing bargains, with prices starting around 15k. Stratstone,a BMW dealer have a 3-door DSG with nav and the RS4 style Recaros for 19k,very tempting!

Good time to buy, bad time to sell. You'd have to be stupid or desperate for cash to try selling any large engined car at the moment.

Sad thing is I can only see things getting worse! Will be making VW a very stupid offer for mine when the lease comes to an end though. Hoping I can save enough to cover the cost of a nice itsy bitsy teeny weeny turbocharger
