Lovin' the ant photo.  Macro lens?  EXIF says kit lens-ish.

Ah, the exif info on flickr is completely wrong, I'll have to compare it to the exif in LR. I never use the original kit lens.
It was taken with my Sigma 18-50 f2.8 EX DC. Not quite a macro lens, but pretty good close up.

Having shifted in the evening last night I was shiftin' in the dark.

At about 01:30hrs.

South West Wight by Thomas Cowley, on Flickr

There's a 'vertorama' in the photostream, too.  Have quite a few more images to stitch together, but PS takes about 20-30minutes per merge - probably because they're noisy, dark images!
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

I really like the first one but would the third one have been a better shot if you'd held away the yellow flower to the left? I find it distracting.

I like that DH...something great about that golden hours stuff, especially when it comes together.

Here's a few more from the other night from me too.

Thanks. I've been waiting to take a good sunset for a while but inthe city it's quite hard to find the space to do it justice. Manual mode FTW. I thought the sun was blown out in the second though so that's why I didn't use it for this months comp. I just couldn't get that foreground with the sky exposed quite right compared with the others I took.
