richy .. doe ur car have a flat spot when pulled off the traffic light etc ..around 3 thou rev .. i am starting to get annoy here lol dunno if it common problem for 1.8 non turbo ?
So hope the chip cured the problem

Nope, mine pulls pretty strong + steady all the way to 6000.  Not blistering, but steady.  Optimax helps

Hey - fuel consumption goes DOWN with upsolute (higher mpg)

Shell Optimax petrol costs about 2-3p a litre more.
Its 98RON as opposed to 95RON for normal petrol (i.e. higher octane). It also has cleaning agents in it to help your engine run smoooooooth

Been using it for a few months now (whenever I can find a Shell garage).  Had a steady improvement ever since first tank.
