So what products do you use to detail your GTI ?

My detailing collection is building lol, not quite at your level yet tho newgolf

I have a lot of products, but tend to keep going back to the ones I listed as they give the best finish with reasonable work.
182 was spot on recommending the Poorboy's Worls wheel sealant, thats made it onto my favourites list, and not only for the lovely smell!

I've ordered a couple of those Chemical Guys cloths and will give them a go this weekend. I'm looking for a better trim detailer, as the Megs Gold Class seems to get streaks in it when it rains, visible on all the rear valance and side skirts which looks bad.

When I've tidied the shed I'll post a pic so you can see how much of this stuff I need to get rid of lol!

PeteSGt where did you get that sprayer from, it looks like it will fit on a Hozelock fitting? Hmmmn I havent got one of those...!

Thats just my shed! And that pics less than half of my detailing stuff! I have invested in Zymol and well impressed with its results so far.

I'm having a new batcave built at the moment so I can properly detail cars out of the sun, and with plenty of space around them. I get so many people ask me about doing their cars, it may pay for itself.....

on reading this it generated an unstoppable urge deep inside me to purchase cleaning products  .... i couldn't stop myself.....they arrive tomorrow ....

Its a slippery slope, you just get addicted to cleaning the car! Then people ask you to do theirs, money comes in and you buy more stuff!

I can't get over how good Zymol carbon looks on the black GTI, it really is a good wax. HD cleanse is hard work to use though, but the shine, and the smell from the wax is fantastic, best I've used so far. 

Oh, and a Gilmour Foamaster, now thats FUN to use!
