Unbiased opinions needed please :)

Hey guys.

I have a Matric dance in less than a months time and was considering on hiring a M3 or something but the cost is something else and I cant really be bothered.

I have two concerns.

1. The dance itself is a big thing at my school. Guys have hired Bentley Continental GT's for the dance and limo's and I think some bloke is rocking up in a helicopter too  . Which car has more presense? The GTi or the big white Pajero? Also keep in mind that the Pajero was recently detailed and is going in soon for bigger rims and new tyres and has recently had a custom freeflow exhaust system fitted (not that anyone will see that) and has had metal bars fitted under the doors along with a Sports Spoiler from Mitsubishi. And its in beautiful condition.

2. My best mate is taking his dads Pajero which is completely stock. As far as I know we are the only guys who have access to a Pajero and I feel a bit insecure about taking my car and "outshining" my mates ride. Should I feel bad? Thats the only reason why I would take the Gti. 

So I leave the decision to the public. Let me know which car you guys prefer. I think the GTi is as classy as anything but it cant quite compare to some of the rides that people are bringing. I cant decide  :embarassed:

I would normally say the golf of course.. but you gotta think about all the extra leg room you get when you drop the back seats of mitsi for the after party

I'm not sure you're aware that the Pajero has an image in the UK as a 'farmers workhorse' or one step up from a people carrier for moms to take the kids to school in, it really isn't seen as anything special over here. (Most likely because its more readily available?) So i think you're asking in the wrong place

Although the golf looks more subtle I'd go for the
Pajero for the after party frolics.

I agree in part with Topher about the image of the Pajero over here, but I suspect it has a more upmarket image over there. The plate makes it a bit more special too
