Didnt it say the tyres were thicker or something? Passat Wheels? Maybe a different offset. Who knows considering we dont even have a final price yet  :undecided:

I just want that car!

I have emailed mom and dad with the link to that article and exactly why it is our next car.

My dad is in the market for something a bit fast- He like the GTi but has been banned from driving it. And the Pajero still going through the developing stages.

Do me a favour dad and order one  I will take the Golf
Is it true it comes as a 5 door?
If so... The golf is mine

Must get A's for my exams, must get GTi.

Mike

*Im not druvk or anything. I just love that car. *

Rear arches look massive - the VAG group love that colour for showing off cars - this now, recently the new Ibiza before that the mk2 leon.

Wheels are from the phateon.

Think you can get them on the passat too, from memory though they're fecking heavy at about 33lbs per corner before rubber.

The engine must be the new badges TSI 2.0 - with the timing chain if they have stated its different to the Golf GTI 2.0 engine

I take it from that comment that the current GTI has a timing belt?

Its starting to grow on me, but am still not completely convinced. I think I need to see one in the flesh first, which hopefully there will be one at Inters.
