Front wheel arch mod...
« on: 20 May 2008, 20:28 »
Who on here had or are having their front wheel arch's rolled, I remember someone on here saying about it.... I think ???
What I mean by rolled is the under lip of the arch rolled back under it's self. So instead of a L shape you end up with a U shape edge...
I was wondering how they got on with it and how much it cost and what the results are like...
I think they were having it done cos they had coilovers on and wanted to go a bit lower but is started rubbing on the fronts...

Are you sure you need them rolling?  I had rubbing problems like a few others and just simply removing the arch screw and tucking the plastic liner behind the screw hole did the job for me.

Will try the front wheel arch mod first and see how I get on...
Why I ask is, when It's my turn to drive to work, I carry four guys in the car as well as me (and I,m not small framed, but I like to think I am....LOL).
A stretch of the road is bumpy and uneven and I don't want to cause any damage to my tyres or body work.

Cheers
