big bumpers + vr6 chin spoiler = ????

Ello peeps
I have accuired a vr6 chin spoiler and wish to attach it to my front bumper on my big bumper golf mk2 gti.
But i dont know how cos its a lot bigger in length???
So what do i need to chop and where???

I'd advise taking the bumper off at thats what i ended up doing youve got to trim the inner edges where the splitter bends around the corners of the bumper as this is where the shape is different to the vr6- but be careful not to take to much off as they can split and then your fcuked!! With a bit of skill and luck!! it shud then clip into the bottom of the bumper like the original. Good luck
