Hi all,

Has anyone who has a Mk4 Gt TDI 115 had there's chipped? mates of mine one being a mechanic told me to get mine done.

Is it worth doing, also where does them?

there the derv legends on here. from what ive heard you get good gains remapping the derv engine and still get the brilliant MPG that the derv has to offer

get it done 100% - turns the car into what it should have been from the off - plenty of tuning companies around.  I went with Custom Code and have been very happy

i dropped the 'e' as there is no 'e' in my surname but phonetically its Ridge

as Rhyso has already said there are plenty of companies out there, with quite a few of them offering mobile re-maps.  celtic offer the biggest performance upgrade, but if you re-map them too far you can end up with quite a smoky exhaust.

I've got the 115pd (AJM) and had it remapped by Custom Code a few weeks ago, its around 145bhp now. Well worth the money! The car is now rapid compared to what it was standard, pulls right to the red line not like before when it lost power up there. Only £320 as well!!
