APS Remap
« on: 19 May 2008, 21:30 »
Anyone out there had APS remap their Ed 30 ??

I was just looking at Revo for my Ed 30 DSG via AmD at Woking until I read they are not the 'same' AmD people as they used to be  (who would have done the remap on my V6 4motion back in 2001)    .....the name of the company having been sold and the old people at AmD now being APS.

I haven't got anything against the 'new' AmD .... and may well use them - just wanted to hear from anyone who has had the APS remap on their Ed 30 [:)

....The cream of the old AmD left and started up APS. APS are considered to be far better. I know lots of people who use APS regularly and have heard nothing but good. If I didn't already know Jim at JKM I would have gone to APS myself.

APS did my coilover fitting (in June's VW Driver Mag) but I chose to go to Superchips for the Bluefin map as I wanted the removable function (and it was slightly cheaper which was a bonus).

The guys at APS did seem very knowledgable, so had the bluefin not had the removable option, I possibly would have used APS.
