sick of the coilovers!
« on: 18 May 2008, 13:49 »
Well chaps, I got some Eibach Pro-Steet-S coilovers a few months ago
After a good few miles on them I've decided they're too hard (especially with the state the roads are in near me!), although the handling is excellent, but comfort comes first...

so..
1) does anyone want a set?? - looking for about £550
2) what would be reccommended in terms of shocks and springs (still with a good drop but a bit less harsh)
plus i'd rather stick with a brand name like Eibach

Thanks!

This is why i went down the spring and shock route!!

Go for eibach pro kit for 30mm drop or eibach sport kit for IIRC 50mm drop :afro:

Eibach FTW

Are those just springs on their own?
If so what shocks do you reckon?

boge are who helped eibach develop the springs......I have turbo extreme (basically gas) front shockers and they seem good and they were much cheaper than koni etc

That's the same setup I had on my Mk3, was well impressed with it now I think about it
Think I'll go for those

Just had a chat with the boke at my local euro car parts and he reckons some new original Billsteins will be better than the Boge shocks. What does anyone reckon to this?
