Tried to fit my goodridge hoses today, but they didn't fit, they needed to be femail on both ends...
But just had a thought, but not sure if I'm talking sh|t or not so bear with me...
Currently on my front calipers, there is a small (about 3 inch in a "C" ish sort of shape

) length of copper pipe that is attached (10mm bolt) to a bracket on the caliper, this curls off to another union that I connect to the flexible hose. The flexible hose then goes off to the main copper brake line. If I remove the curly bit of copper (it doesn't look like it serves a purpose?) I can then screw the braided straight into the caliper and the "incorrect" goodridge pipe would in fact fit.
Would this work, is it safe, does the extra bit of copper serve any real purpose??
Am I make sense!!!
