Hello m8!

The air filter and Atmos Dump valve which you have fitted wont help your cars perfomance . You would be better off getting an induction kit which relocates the air filter low down in the bumper to get the cooler air. Plus 1.8T ME7 engines dont run right with blow off atmos type dump valves, you will be reducing you power with a atmos BOV.  your best bet is to get an after market 100% recirc valve for around £35 off ebay,

If you fitt the 100% re-circ valve and induction kit with the alloy pipe you will still get a nice blow off sound and induction roar with out compromise to the power of the engine.

induction Pipe with filter and a Alloy 100% recirc wil set you back around £80 from ebay,  you could sell your bailey Bov for about the same money.

once you have these mod running nice you can go for the remap on the ecu which should see you to 195+bhp

if your wanting over 200bhp then you would go down the route of a bigger turbo, injectors, de-cat system, etc.  then you can push 250+bhp.

The spec1 remap alone will but a big smile on your face.

Regards
Nick

cheers nick,

can you elabarate on the induction Pipe with filter and a Alloy 100% recirc. do you just mean a longer pipe down to the lower bumper  where do you fit a recirc valve.

cheers scott

Get yourself a forge 007p valve :

1.8T engines dont like atmospheric DV - and wont run correctly.
