Come On Guys, Persuade Me
« on: 17 May 2008, 13:13 »
Well, its been a textbook "dub" week for me...

I'd been out and done a bit of shopping; including a badgeless grille, £30 worth of paint and prep materials, crystal side repeaters and a sunroof motor that finally made it work!!

Then i had a renewal for my insurance at 900 but if i had a Cat 1 alarm i'd pay 405.... So obviously theres £250 i'd spent...

Then Driving to sheffield to see my freinds i flash someone in my lane and the high beams, stay on and im unable to turn them off!!! So i've brought a new stalk to see if that'll fix it!

Then last night i was suppose to be coming home to leicester and i heard a loud knock every time i let off the accelertor. Turns out my Oil filter has crashed into the ross member and the front engine mount has sheard off....

I then call the AA, turns out i didnt pay for relay which meant it cost me £80 to get back to leicester...

Now im thinking... Is it really worth it?

Anyone else ever feel like this?!

Dan

pretty eventfull!!!!

tbh I have done 40,000 miles in my valver with only bulbs going on me!!! the cheapest motoring ever mine has been and i don't look after it just abuse it.

maybe your being too nice to it?? try neglecting it and see if it responds by being well behaved and not breaking

Like any car, it's just the luck of the draw, some parts will be better quality than others.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

that'd be the 3rd world cart tracks that Sheffield council have the front to call roads.

The last 3 cars I've bought have been from other cities and were rattle free for the 1st few weeks but all eventually start falling to bits.
