Whats that Dimming thing called around the Wing Mirrors?

I need to get one of those black plasticy things that is around the wing mirror (around the actual mirror) which dimms them.
Anyone know what it is called and how much it costs?

?, do you have a dimming mirror now ?

Ye my wing mirrors have dimmers much like the rear view mirror but i realised its missing on the passengerside wing mirror and that does not dimm. Its a small plastic thing that goes around the mirror.
They are heated aswell

I asked the question when I had my last GTI, and the answer back from VW was that they only fitted the dimming mirror on the drivers side  :angry:

As you can see from pictures below, is that black thing around the wing mirror there for dimming or is it there as part of the heated wing mirror?

Do you guys have that black thing around both wing mirrors or just driver side????
Can someone check on their MK5 GTI please ?

As there both heated im guessing it's for the dimming side of things. The drivers side also has more of a blueish tint to it.

i have no idea, thats why im asking. I think all GTI's do. Can you have a check if yours does and if its just the driver side or both sides....?
