I so need a new clutch for my standard '90 16v GTi..
Has anyone fitted a Techniclutch Fast Road Clutch from e-Bay, they seem ok for under £100!
Also pleased with me Black Diamond brakes, & wondered what their clutches are like?
Any info' would be V helpful, thanks..

I have a JTE clutch kit from the Netherlands sitting in my garage done 500 miles. Was ok with 230bhp from my 20v turbo.

I have noticed that my clutch sits slightly higher than the other pedals, i have to depress it slightly to get it onto the same elevation as the brake pedal before i can actually "feel" it bite ...

So a Sachs Sports Clutch looks to be on the list then!
Does the pedal feel any different from the standard 16v system in place?
Eventually will head to the 1.8t, will this system suffice at that stage? :undecided:

That could be because the stopper (don't know what to call it) is missing from the top of the clutch pedal. Its just a little bung that stops the pedal returning too far allowing it to line up with the break pedal.

Cheers dude, aiming to sort that out next weekend!
I have seen some of those rubber pedals covers on ebay but where can i find the cover/metal plate for the accelerator pedal? Kinda worn out (for obvious reasons)
