R32. Man or auto?

I am planning on getting a R32 but I cannt decide if I should go for a manual or a auto one. What do you recommend

DSG no contest, if your going for the slow motion sorry 4wd golf, then get the dsg, the soundtrack is what sells the R and the burble of the sound of the throttle blipping on the paddles to go with is a real cocktail.
Also cus us boys in edition 30's need something to have a battle with  :wink:. Try it , before anyone says else. Much more fun imo.

Listen 2 you, us ED30 boys, its not that long ago you were disin the Ed30 as a waste of space, looks lke you've come to your senses :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

the DSG in the R32 is fantastic, as said above the noise you get from the throttle blip is seriuosly addictive   :grin:

 have to say, purely because my ed30 has been run in and the 2 other ed30 's id driven before from dealers we both with very few miles on the clock it was hard to notice the difference apart from 60mph onwards. But this one i have is on steroids im sure of it!.4000 rpm is where i find the ed30 has another gear or feels it does comparing the two.

Totally agree, I had a regular GTi first also, and the main difference is that top end surge the bigger turbo gives :evil:, you should try it with a remap :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Try the DSG, see if you can get on with it, no point asking other people if you dont like it
