Correct Fitting VW Warning Triangle
« on: 10 May 2008, 12:13 »
Hi all,
I thought this may be useful to anyone wanting to get the proper fitting warning triangle that goes in the left hand side of your boot plastic holder thingy.

The VW part number for this is  8D9 860 251 B

Mine cost me £15 of fleabay. Fits perfect.

I'll post pics of the proper First Aid kit when i find it.

These damn things should come as standard, but hey!

afaik it does come as standard in Germany and a few other EU countries as it's a legal requirement.

Does that include the first aid kit, and does anyone have one fitted with a photo to show if possible? I also have a fire extinguisher that fits into a 1ltr oil pouch that sits perfect in the boot!

Boooo! I can't fit one there  My wheel arch build covers it

One would be handy for trips abroad though

Was it a one-off or did you buy it from someone who has more than one? If so, can you let me know the sellers name please?

One off from that seller unfortunately.  There's a few on eBay at the moment but I didnt see any with the correct part number. They do pop up from time to time though.

First aid kits on its way, I'll put a pic up of it when it arrives!
