easy enough using the the small jack out of the boot as there are recesses in the side skirts to locate it but what about using a standard hydraulic type jack? where should this be located?

is it possible to jack the car up from the front (centrally) rather than from either side?

where should axel stands be positioned?

are there anythings available to put on axel stands/jack heads to protect the bottom of the car from damage?

i've found that the small jack is fine for use on the strengthened parts of the sills, however, trolley jacks will damage the sill if you try use it on any part of the sill. trolley jack under an axle/subframe works well though, same place for the axle stands ;)

don't use a widow maker full stop pretty much! I have had a car fall whilst on one and will not use one unless it is to get a trolley jack under as I roll low!
I use the two knobbly bits on the footwells don't know if thats right but they fit a trolley jack head perfectly then axle stands under the subframe mounts :)

I use trolley jacks under the sill jacking points. Its fine if you use a folded piece of cardboard on the jack cup.

Axle stands should be placed under the subframe, at the front just inside of the wishbones. rear I use the beam.

Push the trolly jack under the car and jack up on the subframe where it bolts to the chasis,  it aint gunna do any damage there... and if it does ur car has serious problems
