do you thint i should go for it?

will put mine on ebay for £400?

rcd300 or rcd500
both have chrome buttons so dont see whats different?

rcd 500 is a 6 disc unit, i have mine upstairs  :smiley:

oh and why not go for it :smiley:, just make sure it has the mp3 written on it whatever you get, some say there mp3 but there not

sorry mines the mfd2 dvd version

they are some on ebay for £380-£550 but dont think they are uk versions
anyway mine should sell for around £300-400 if i put best offer.

so the rcd500 has a built in 6cd changer and the rcd300 is just 1 cd load

Oh dont get me started on this. I have about 60 MP3 CDs that I used in my MK4, none of them fecking work in the MK5, a little bit miffed at that. Is it possible to get aftermarket units for the MK5 like Kenwood or Alpine units?

How do you tell between the 300 and the 500? they both look the same to me !!!!!!!!!!

easiest way is the load button on the top left of the rcd500 i guess (the rcd 300 doesnt have it), and 500 has 10 buttons on the bottom, 300 has 8
