which unit plays mp3s?

there are various cd/radio units for the mk5 golf

the one i had with my car was a normal cd/radio but didnt play mps3

i have the dvd satnav at the moment that dont play mps but has the aux on the back....

anyway im looking on selling my dvd satnav only 2months old never used and getting the mp3 player version?

I believe the RCD300 and RCD500 do, but only the newer ones that have "MP3" written on the front by the cd slot. I have the RCD300 and it does play them and show all the song details on the screen. I think the new ones have silver knobs.

how much do you think my dvd satnav is worth?

there is a few on ebay for over £500 with v3 map disc

the v4 disc is the latest version but only things updated are in europe so guess there aint no BIG difference.

think post november 2007 units do MP3'S, As said above it has MP3 written on the slot where you put the CD
