Goodbye and Thank You!
« on: 08 May 2008, 11:29 »
Just a short message to say that after two very happy years of Mk V ownership, I've sold the car and replaced it with a Nissan 350z GT.

Although I haven't posted that much on the GTI forum, I've read it a lot and it has been really helpful for finding tips on tyres, wheels, where to buy components and get things fixed, dealers, warranty claims, etc etc.  It's also a very friendly place and the banter is great.  I can only hope the 350z forum is half as good!

I've recommended to my buyer that he signs up asap and I'll surf in from time to time catch up on the news.

Anyway, all the best to everyone and happy motoring!

Cheers

Johnny A

You'ill probably find the Nissan dealers a bit more clued up and a lot less stuffy than the VAG ones - certainly my experience when I rang Nissan in Cambridge regarding the GT-R.  But maybe they're like al the rest - as soon as they get their mitts on your cash they don't want to know.

Nice car - a colleagues Husband has one. After years of having VWs. He hates the dealers, calls them rubbish as they can't sort out the faults on his car. He is tempted to get a Scirroco instead.

I had a bit of a play the other morning with a 350Z, it had nizmo badges to which I believe is a Jap tuning company that do a special edition for the home market, anyway I give it him , think he was a bit suprised but gave me thumbs up later on down the road

Yeah, Nismo is the sports division of Nissan.

They use special fit guinea pigs, where as the standard nissans just have plain hamsters
