Ordered a Steel Grey 3 Dr Manual GTI today.....I am just a little excited!

Options are: MFSW, Armrest with Ipod dock, Rear Tints, Cruise Control, 18" Monza's and Parking Sensors.

The downside is the 2 - 3 weeks wait for it to get here from Emden.......already counting the days!

Yeah, the weeks have been flying by recently but I think the next few will drag for me!

Thats the same spec as the car i just sold, its on vw's forecourt now for £22495!, but you could of had it for £20k and saved you a fortune!!. it had the same spec as youve just ordered!.  How much was yours with the extra's?

edit, just seen mine had to more doors and a proper Gearbox , sorry!

HAHA! I got it for just over £21K on a pcp deal through VW at a local dealership (Inchcape). autobytel.com are part of Inchcape, got the discount through them but dealt with dealership.

thats not fair, i ordered my Golf off inchscape and I'm waiting 22 weeks for it, sheer madness.

good spec, i couldn't choose between the steel grey and the black,

perhaps the exact spec you ordered wasn't already in the pipe line hence your longer wait for it being built.
