Played about with mine... A better fit now



No problems today getting radio stations... Tried all my presets 100%. Works just as good parked under my car port.

It also looks bent, if you follow the line from the base  :sad:

Just checked... Not bent and hasn't been in a vice. Must be the light.
I was able to get the thread more recessed and also chopped a bit of the thread off...
I'm pleased with it anyway...

how did you make it more recessed ?, i have filled some off the bottom but it hasnt made much difference ?
