black vw badges?

Yes... I had mine change a while back and they fitted the new type like yours... The new ones fitted to the new golfs fit flush unlike mine which sit proud by about 5 or so mm

Just use normal wet and dry... Make sure you rub it down good, get all the chrome stuff off then clean in warm water and dry then spray...

thats impossible mines an 05, im guessing that the ones that stickout are newer ones, and the flush ones older.

The newer rear ones are like the front VW badge two pieces, were as the old 05 style are flush fitting but are also flush to the back plate ( more like a sticker type ). The newer ones fitted to the older 05 car stick out more than they do on a new car. Without pictures it's hard to describe.

did my front one with halfords primer and satin black the other day
stuck my red GTi badge on too
