Mk5 LED rear lights
« on: 05 May 2008, 12:05 »
Hey guys

The first purchase for my golf will probably be the LED rears, then when they're back in stock will get some r32 inners.

Is VW Speed the best place to get them?

Might get the open front fog grills too!

....Yes, VWSpeed are the cheapest and fastest (providing they have them in stock!).

They are really easy to fit and it's best to plastic weld when you swop the fog and reverse inner lenses. There's no rewiring etc necessary, just plug in and play

If you do a Search you'll find a whole thread I started on the subject with many pics....Sorry, I'd post a link but I gotta dash out!

Cool cheers.  I'll get them from there then.  They do look superb...but I definately prefer the darker red look of the R32/ED30 inners, and it'll save me plastic welding the leds to death too.

What is so good about the open front fog grille? Why would you want to get that?

Because all the other grills are open, so the side ones look a bit ghey! lol...I just like touches like that.
