I take it you didnt look very hard on vwspeed then:

http://www.vwspeed.co.uk/volkswagen/vw-parts/Genuine_Mk4_Golf_R32_US_Spec_Rear_Lights-2332-16.html

http://www.vwspeed.co.uk/volkswagen/vw-parts/Genuine_Mk4_Golf_Euro_Spec_Rear_Lights-2331-16.html

:afro:

still can't decide which to go for, seen these on bay item number 220229715205 or the US spec R32 for 99.99
cant decide which would go on a black car, i see L8 has the hella colour magic on his, not sure if they'll look to dark??
whats peoples opinions?
on a budget.... ..

cheers.

IMO the EURO spec lights look mint on a black car... plus they are OEM so they shouldnt effect your insurance

I've bought some of them.  Hope they don't effect insurance, because I'm not going to declare them :)

unfortunately.....they will effect your insurance mate as they are aftermarket. Plus the lights say "colour magic" (or something on those lines) on the side of them to make it more obvious. For the sake of not being insured (having void insurance) its not worth not delaring them

If they are OEM then youre more likely to be ok

These Hellas may effect your MOT as well. I could be wrong but IIRC the tinted tail lights dont have any rear reflectors. You will need to add some to the rear of the car (on the lower bumper or something)

I'm starting to doubt whether I like them or not now I've bought them!!  AGH decisions!!

I'll have to have another think.  I might re-sell them and put the money to better use :)
