if i hadn't quit my job i'm sure i'd have had that 16v turbo up and running by now but for now its just on hold.... but there should be an awesome update coming soon. other than that i've never had a date set for a project to be completed by, they've just been an evolution.
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

The T25 Transporter pickup outside my living room window.

Stops, starts, goes.

I was going to drag race it, but have realised with Castle Combe just down the road and Santa Pod 2 1/2 hours away I can have a load more fun on the circuit with the Golf.

The Nearly arrived Hell's Belle No.2 has also made me appreciated that I should be having fun, not burning time in the workshop endlessly.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

A project is never finished. Can anyone here seriously look at their car, no matter how immaculate it may be, and say, thats it, its finished?? It may be on the road. It may have MOT and run like a dream. It may be concourse and a show winner. But is it finished?? Erm, no! There is always something else to do!! Thats why we do it, because there is always something else to do. (But try telling my wife that!! :undecided:)

Any of mine!

I have the plans, buy pretty much all of the bits (well the main ones), but then it never happens. Mainly due to time, money or next door parking their car in front of our garage before going on holiday for the week in which i had planned to swap engines

You're defeated easily.  Don't you have rope and a trolley jack?

That situation would have stalled me for about 20 minutes, I should think.

Wouldn't have been that easy unfortunately. They parked kind of 45 degrees to the right of where mine is in this pic, with our garage being the one on the right:

Would have had to have dragged the car about 20m out of what turns into quite a tight gap onto the road and then get my car in too.
