Laserblue....I recently improved my miles per gallon by switching off the heated seats, turning off the air con, switching off the silly big feck off bass speaker in the boot (inherited) and using the cruise control even for the shortest of straights.
MPG on same route each day went from a miserly 22mpg to just under 32mpg!!!
Still regularly get mid 20's though when i drive normally....we all feel your pain re the costs of petrol...but your lucky that you can fill up from empty for just £53! i am over sixty round here just now....bleeding scandalous. We are near £1.20 per litre here (sorry not an accurate cost, cos it goes up all the time).
you would think that the government burglars would be able to cap the amount of tax they take from each litre regardless of the increase in crude costs etc.
