Weird gurgling noise at rear of my mk4 Gti...!

Afternoon guys...first post so be gentle!

Ive just got in from the lunch run in my 2003 mk4 Gti (1.8T) and noticed a strange bubbling/gurgling noise coming from the rear...now im pretty useless with cars but it doesnt sound all that good, any ideas as to what could be causing this and if its anything to worry about?

If its not a 'oh dear i've got a hole in my exhaust' kind of gurling, the mk4's have a very common fault.. the pipe that feeds the rear screen washer jet pops off and p!sses water inside the boot. Does it sound like it could be that? If so you need to get the interior panel off and have a look because its a matter of time before the water gets to the lock mechanism and plays havoc with your alarm!

Cheers for the quick response! Ive had a quick look in the boot and everything appears to be fine, the noise seemed to be coming from below the boot and sounded like air entering or exiting something? Its stopped now, however after hurtling down a particularly nice A road it was very noticeable...

Nothing else springs to mind, might be worth having a poke around the spare wheel well to see if some water got in.
