Reg plates...where from..?

Need some new registration plates for my vr, nothing fancy but good quality, anyone know wheres the best place to get some from..?

How about the pressed metal ones, quite fancy a pair of them, any ideas..?

got mine off ebay, 20 quid for the two  :wink:

I guess that is becuase pressed metal is not reflective like a british numberplate is.

you get some double sided tape, not the best so i used some other stuff  :wink:

I had plain ones, stick mine on with double sided trim tape.

I guess that is becuase pressed metal is not reflective like a british numberplate is.
MOT laws on number plates were relaxed at the end of last year. According to the MOT man too many people were failing MOT's based on the number plate laws, and the DVLA were getting inundated with complaints, and considering they now sell reg plates they decided to relax the laws.
My plates would have failed for having the car makers logo (only allowed GB or the Euro symbol), a car graphic in the middle of the numbers, and no postcode or details of who had made the plates up. Forgot to swop them over before I went for the MOT.
