That's had a lot of work done to it so it's pretty unique. He states that it has 150bhp which is the power of the 16v which would be awesome. Make sure it definatelty is a 16v though as he has no engine bay shots. Not keen on the wheels as theyre a bit big but it's a pretty nice motor. If I was selling it i'd be wanting 2.5k at least for it

You value that at 2.5K!! I'd say £1500 absolute tops, so he's put a golf cab front on it & modified some MK2 Recaro seats but other than than it's just a standard MK3 with a sh!tty respray, cheap wheels & generic exhaust!

I like what he's going for with the mk4 conv. but the 'cracked' paint doesn't sound good, especially if it's a custom bumper - read. filler!

It'd take the larger part of £1K to get it looking right, repaint door, fix & repaint bumper etc.

I'd ask for some much better pictures, taken in the daytime or better yet go see it!

Quite high mileage as well!

it's much better to buy a standard car or one with limited mod's.... don't ever take anybody elses old project as you'll never know what's being done and if it's being done well!! there's too many paeople out there that given a spanner think there master mechanics with dangerous results!
