M3 style wing mirrors
« on: 25 April 2008, 13:34 »
Hi people, I'm looking for m3 style wing mirrors for my 3 door gti, mirrors need to be electric and must be able to fold inwards otherwise won't be able to get my car through house gates! lol
Does anyone know where I could find these? Tried ebay but they don't fold in.
Cheers,
Alan

To be honest was looking for some myself and none of the ones I found would fold in, someone else might know.

I don't believe any of them are made to fold in. I'm not a fan of the M3 mirrors myself, just because they look to generic. One company takes the same style mirror and mass produces it for every car out there without taking any consideration into the shape and flow of the car it is going on.

Stick with your standard mirrors otherwise you'll lose the heated mirror element and the adjustment will never be as good. Plus they're 90s rubbish lol
