They still haven't worked out how to make the haldex permanent 4wd on mk5's? And still haven't managed to calculate the mechanical drag to get a flywheel figure? Disappointing that jroe.. I'll still be there though as I know roughly how to work back to crank bhp.

Yo Hurdy.

I will be in Deepcar nr Stocksbridge from Friday night.Where do you want to meet up and what time??

Gulf

7am is probably around the right time (takes about an hour 15min at that time) If we left at 7.30am we hit all the traffic at Glossop and it can take over an hour and a half.

Look at the map in the link below and you will see the fork where the A6101 and the A57 meet. Just before the  meeting of the fork there is a small connecting road (just by the A 57 sign on the map) there is a small car park off this road and it is a good place to join up. Okay?

no....they wil be running it in 4wheel drive not front, apparently they have to take out the fuse to get a flywheel bhp and can only get this in front. i dont really understand it but give em a call im sure they can explain propa : )

OK mate.

Reckon my best bet then is to come down thru oughtibridge, then middlewood road and join the A601 there.

You can't come through Middlewood as the road is STILL out  from the floods we had last year in June. The diversion sends you over Worrall and back down the other side again.
