Brian g did you go for the wheels from Amair 786 ? For some reason my computer does nt display most of the photos posted on this forum.  Anyhow  I am contemplating replacing my 18 " factory alloys for the black/red bbs  alloys and if spiggot rings are  required  what size or spec do I ask for ?

phillip at pw motorsport will know which to send you, just ring him  , and yes he got them from Amair
thanks for the comments guys,  mostly possitive
it's hard to make as big a visual impact as the Monzas, i don't think they do to be honest it's a totaly different look and can understand why some people just wont like them

the spigot rings from PW motor sport were the wrong ones, managed to source a set localy from Motorsport Wheels for £10 so problem solved in the end

They look mint mate

Really good on the red car too. It is definitely a car colour specific mod though

i have a couple of red GTi badges so will change the front one, not sure what to do with the back one

would love a carbon fibre front VW badge but might paint it black until i can get one

a bit confused about the comments of the car being an 05
i colour coded the kit to make the car look better not to hide it's age/make it look like an ED30
i think VW got the rear valance totaly wrong with the GTi
sorry if that's not what you meant

....A black VW badge definitely suits a red GTI imo. Also, it's a tradition going back to Mk1's.

I agree with Phil - I personally don't like black alloys on a red car and I also think that the Monza 18's are as important stylistically to the Mk5 GTI as the red grill stripe and Interlagos cloth. But, Brian's red GTI nonetheless looks good overall.

In years to come, we're going to see a lot of modded Mk5's methinks!

Gaz - I think your missus is a lady of taste - Your Steel Grey Ed30 looks best with the silver grey alloys it's got.
