Relex silver spray paint

hey guys.

Noticed today when washing my mk5 that i have a few scratches in places with small pieces of paint missing, nothing serious!! somone informed me that halfords sell the exact same paint for the relex silver!! has anyone ever used this and does it work

i would buy a touch up set from VW as its cheap enough and should be a good match, my candy white set only cost me about £4.50 (from VW) and thats for paint and lacquer

You can also get spray paint sets from VW too. I'd rather stick to the VW ones as if they are a cr@p match I can give them hell :evil:

Yes, I've used a VW set from Halfords a few years ago.  Used to come in a pack with separate primer, paint & lacquer sticks plus a little pad for fine sanding.  It's good for touching up stone chips etc.  It also includes a very fine brush and also a "needle" type of rod for getting into very small chips.
