rear quarter panel

how do you go about in removing the rear quarter panel on a 4 door on the passenger side? is it a big job? is cutting required? cheers

well the panel is welded to the body and need cutting to remove! not a job unless your a body expert

2 years of body repair taught me never to go near one  :grin: :grin:

Nah its not that bad if you know how to use a welder and are good at body work etc..  Relativly easy on a golf any way.  If you dont have experiance it realy is a pro job.
10 golfs and counting!

Nightmare lol. If it's just an arch problem you can buy the arch on its own to have welded on rather than the whole rear quarter
