Fog light Wiring

Right i Have a set of foglights and my local scrappy has a wiring loom from a GTi do i only need the light to plug bit  or do i need the wiring all the way back to the switch

open the bonnet. as u look at the car there is a plug on the top left of the rad. undo this. then unplug the wirin on the headlights, indercaters, and the horn. Remove this part of the loom and replace with the one with the fogs on. You will need a new switch. Thats it.  
Took about half an hour!
