Engine or no engine, that is not worth £800. The owner should sell the engine seperatly and scrap the rest.

how can you even see where they are mounted? and if its to the rear seat belts then thats fine, mot standard to pass.

I'm talking about the angle. Think about what would happen in a crash, all that forward momentum gets converted to downward, spine crushing pressure.

tbf id much prefer to crash wearin a harness over a single strap seat belt anyday, regardless of where its mounted. ive been in a head on collision at nearly 110mph combined speed with a normal belt, and it was the worst pain in my collar bone i could ever want to imagine

Well I'm sorry but your gut feeling is wrong. Crash at anything approaching speed in that car and you'd be better not strapping in to those harnesses. I wouldn't argue, but this is literally a life or death issue - I don't mean any offence.

yeh are they not meant to be basically straight back onto a roll cage etc not bolted to the floor behind the seats  :rolleyes:
