Just a couple of quickies for the moment - popped down to the dealer and there she was, straight off the transporter!




Really pleased with how good the car looks in the metal - and that's even with her covered in transport wax and the spring risers still fitted!

Only a few days now until handover and then she's all mine!

My stealer wouldn't let me come down and look at mine till it was fully ready for me to drive off

Thanks guys - I think I'll wait and enjoy the car for a little while before deciding on plans. I've had a remapped MKIV 1.8T which transformed the car, so tempted by that, but not in the immediate future.

First priority is a full detail which should be happening at the weekend - I've got a friend who is a Detailer, and I'm quite into it as well, so we're both planning to giving it the works!  

Not quite decided on LSP for it yet though - are there any other white owners who'd like to share what they use?

Out of interest how long from order to delivery to the dealer and do you know what build week the car was? Trying to figure out how long I have to wait!

There's something about the ED30 in white, does it remind anyone of the Stormtroopers outta Star Wars? Great colour. Makes all other white cars look off colour.

It wasn't a factory order as they'd closed by the time I'd decided on one - I had the choice of pre-spec'd cars which were already in the system. Mine was in Germany and has taken approx 2 weeks from date of order to delivery to the dealers. I've been like a kid waiting for Santa just waiting these two weeks, so I feel for anyone who has had to wait the full factory order-to-delivery timescales!

Cheers  it is painfull and just found out they forgot to order the tinted glass then had the cheek of offering it as dealer fit for 350
