hi, can anyone suggest where to get my gearbox reconditioned on my golf gti mk3 8v? with prices would be handy!

Sozz to hear it needs a rebuild... but im sure there a place in charlton..round the bk by asda... off the round about macros end there an industrial est... havent used them my self just to say.. hope it helps

my mate is just getting his 8v gearbox fully re-built for £400 @ kent transmissions, bushes and everything. Its run by an old boy that seems like he has been doing it since cars had wooden wheels :grin:
they are located down the a20 in the maidstonish sort of area. heard nothing but good things about them

Not sure about price,they do re-con boxes off the shelf.
