Whats the best stuff to use to rejuvanate black plastic

Mine needs bringing back to life and someone suggested baby oil and try to avoid anything with silicone in it

I tried baby oil once, it made a right mess when the sun had melted it a little, then it  rained - horrid grease slick all down your paintwork   I'v tried everything I can find, the worst is the Williams F1 super spandangle, and the best of a bad lot is the Auto glym fairy liquid gloop.

I decided at the weekend that any black plastic is either being replaced with fresh new items, or is getting colour coded. Cos I'm that fed up with plastic trim looking shabby.

I use auto glym, looks good for quite a while, but you need to apply it after you wash the car to keep it looking really nice.

Lots of people recommend armour-all too.  

These two seem the most popular, and probably therefore the best.

Try wd40 if its your bumper trim

i use turtlewax extreme bumper and tyre shine stuff...... its has tri-silicone technonlogy!

i'm supprised how long this stuff stays on for..... kepts the bumpers black for a while!!!!!!

autoglym is good aswell but i do prefer this stuff.......

i use exterior trim renovator from poundland!

ya cant beat Poundland for value ands its not bad stuff either

Agree with Autoglym Bumper Care.

I found that if you apply it with a sponge and really work it in, leave it a few minutes then wipe off any excess with a cloth. Usually lasts a couple of washes or more...
