fk shocks and springs, will theese fit???

hi,
ive seen some fk shocks and springs for sale in the classifieds section,
they are advertised as for a mk2 gti,

i need to know if they will fit my 1993 mk3 golf?

yes mk2 suspension is exactly the same as mk3....

although the springs would be model specific probably ie the right spring for the weight of the car etc....

mk3's are a couples of tonnes heavier tho  :laugh: so wouldnt the springs sit really looooooow?

early mk3 suspension is the same as mk2..... it will fit fine but the front will be lower than when fitted to mk2 due to the car weight (and with the way mk3's sit I wouldn't worry)
