those are the 3.5 fronts mate, you need wings bumper bonnet, and lights pretty expensive at the dealer, they are slightly different to the mk 4 items too as the 3.5 is based on the mk 3

What is the 3.5?  Did they make a 3.5 GTI/CL or was it just the cabby?  because i have only ever seen a cabby with that sort of front end and a MK3 ass end.

3.5 is the cabby only, basically a mk 3 with a mk 4 front, came out when the mk 4 did if you get my drift illuminates inside like a mk 4 but has mk 3 dash... VW obviously couldnt be arsed to bring out a whole new car and just modified the mk 3 cab

also has better wing mirrors

i know a few people who have put this front on their mk 3, not really my bag as u may awell just get a mk 4.

I was thinking about this the other day when I say the 3.5 cab and noticed how similar it was in shape to my MK3, I quite fancy this as it kinda makes the MK3 look like a slim MK4 which has gotta be good in anyones book.

What you want is a rear damaged 3.5 cab to rip the front off and the switches and the dash so that you get all of the red/blueness and MK4 looks, this would probably be the easiest thing to work from as you would have all the parts.

rockinghorse poo to find one though.

Gonna hangout with the wangout

the switches are disapointing compaired to doing it yourself, the 3.5 ones are very very dim red, i actually have a spare electric mirror switch from a 3.5, its crap compaired to my own version
